Common EUDR questions

Find answers to common questions about EUDR compliance and our platform

When does EUDR take effect?

EUDR becomes applicable on December 30, 2024, for large companies and non-SME traders. Micro and small enterprises have until June 30, 2025.

What are the penalties for non-compliance?

Penalties include fines up to 4% of annual EU turnover, product confiscation, and potential EU market access bans for repeat offenders.

Is PPWR related to EUDR?

PPWR and EUDR are separate optional add-ons built on top of our core solution for digitization and full traceability. They can be added whenever you need them.

What geolocation accuracy is required?

For areas under 4 hectares, point coordinates are sufficient. For areas of 4 hectares or more, you must provide a polygon with defined boundaries.

Is a supplier declaration sufficient?

Operators and non-SME traders must conduct their own due diligence. SME traders have simplified rules, but they still have obligations to verify the authenticity of DDS.

What happens if I discover a high-risk supplier?

You must implement risk mitigation measures, which may include additional documentation requests, third-party audits, or supplier replacement if risks cannot be reduced to negligible levels.

How long are records kept?

The regulation requires records to be kept for at least five years, and the system supports archiving and retrieval for that full period.

Is there integration with TRACES?

Yes. We support integration for submitting DDS into TRACES as part of your due diligence process.

Is the platform suitable for companies with complex multi-tier supply chains?

Absolutely. Our platform is designed to handle complex supply chains with multiple tiers of suppliers. It includes features for mapping supplier networks, tracking chain of custody documentation, and conducting risk assessments at each tier.

Can I change my subscription plan?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Is there a limit on the number of users?

The Starter plan includes up to 5 users, Professional includes up to 15 users, and Enterprise has unlimited users. Additional user licenses can be purchased for Starter and Professional plans.

Do you offer discounts for non-profit organizations?

Yes, we offer special pricing for non-profit organizations and NGOs. Please contact our sales team for more information.
